Dr. Kurt Petellin
Dr. Petellin grew up in the Seattle area and then completed his undergraduate studies at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas. He then pursued his graduate work at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, graduating in 1994.
Dr. Petellin and his wife moved to Coeur d’Alene the same year and opened their practice on Lincoln Way. When he is not at the office he enjoys hiking, skiing, hunting and spending time on the Coeur d’Alene River with his family and friends.
Office Management
Brenda
Brenda has been with the practice from the beginning as our Office Manager and has lived in Coeur d’ Alene for the past 35 years. She enjoys spending her free time traveling with her husband and spending time with her family at the lake, biking, walking trails and camping.
Susie
Susie joined the practice in 2019 as our Office Administrator. She has lived in Coeur d’Alene since 1994. She enjoys spending time with her husband hiking, camping, enjoying the river, traveling together and cherishes her time with their adult children.
Dental Assistants
Nicole
Nicole came here after completing her certification as a dental assistant in California. She has been in the Coeur d’ Alene area for 13 years and has been with us since 2009. She has 2 grown children and a grandson and enjoys spending time with them camping, walking the trails, and swimming.
Dorinda (Dory) Flathers
I have been a dental assistant for 20 years. I like to know the patients and helping them with their smiles. Born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, I’m married with 3 children and have a granddaughter! On my days off, you can find me spending time with friends camping, traveling and relaxing at the river with my 2 dogs and family.
Hygienists
Lianne
Lianne grew up in Woodinville, WA. She originally graduated from Western Washington University with a B.S. in kinesiology an became an ACE certified personal trainer. After working as a personal trainer and having 3 wonderful children, Lianne decided to go back to school to pursue a career in dental hygiene. In her spare time, Lianne enjoys playing with her kids, camping, fishing and going on long drives with her husband. She is a self-proclaimed microbiology nerd and loves sharing her knowledge of oral health with patients.
Lynette
I have been a hygienist for 18 years and recently joined Dr. Petellin’s office. I love working with my patients and teaching them how taking care of their teeth can actually help the rest of the body to stay healthy. I am an Idaho native and have lived in north Idaho for the past 29 years. When not at work I can be found outside camping, snowshoeing, and playing with my two Golden Retrievers – Ellie and Sophie. I also enjoy playing the piano, drawing, gardening and time with my family.
